Challenge
The challenge was to remove all the roadblocks that user testing revealed:

– Confusion with sorting and filtering functionalities that are merged under one button/experience.

– The ability to reach 0 filtered results.
 
Solution
Separated filtering and sorting functionalities.

Changed functionality to calculate and show the number of available products with each selection and deactivate any unavailable facets to avoid having 0 filtered results.

Followed a card-like system for filter facets to create better visual separation and hierarchy.

Introduced a mini-search functionality for lists that are longer than 6 items.
